ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT - PART TIME

Omnium is a boutique consulting and advisory firm specializing in analytics and data driven decision making in the CPG industry. Our offices are located in Pacific Beach, San Diego, and in Toronto’s Liberty Village neighborhood.

This is an exciting part-time opportunity to join a collaborative team in a brand-new role, helping shape the administrative support/foundation of the company.  You will assess the current processes, identify what falls under the scope of this role, suggest improvements, and work with the team to provide a full range of administrative support.  This is a varied role with a broad scope of responsibilities, and we are looking for someone with drive, experience, a collaborative nature, and a passion for streamlining and improving processes. 

The hours of work will be between 20 and 30 per week, with flexibility to increase if the role supports this. We offer a very competitive compensation package and the flexibility of a hybrid role.  The expectation is that the successful candidate will be on-site for three days a week, particularly in the first few months as they settle into the role. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the office, including ensuring the office is stocked with the necessary supplies, snacks, ordering lunch for team and client meetings. 

  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks for the team including calendar, meetings, coordinating conference calls, and day office rental. 

  • Planning and organizing the company team building events and year end event. 

  • Supporting with Intern recruitment, setting up interviews, prepping application packages 

  • Planning and coordinating work related travel for the team 

  • General administration support including preparing documents, inputting data, updating systems etc 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of administrative or executive assistant experience or related role 

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams 

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills 

  • Strong communication skills 

  • Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented 

  • Able to multitask and manage competing priorities 

  • Strong initiative and works well without supervision
